The Shimeøn Clinic Philosophy
Liv is the founder, Director and Medical Aesthetician of The Shimeøn Clinic. She has an extensive healthcare background spanning 25 years.
She established the clinic after a series of personal circumstances brought into sharp focus a new ethos for living. Wanting to live more, commute less and help others be the very best versions of themselves, Liv set up the clinic with the aim of showing her clients how powerful aesthetic improvements can be in creating confidence, boosting self-esteem and wellbeing.
Liv’s mantra of ‘look good, feel good’ is reflected in the expansive range of non-surgical aesthetic treatments offered at The Shimeøn Clinic. The clinic’s approach is natural enhancement. Liv prides herself on achieving results for her clients that aren’t obvious, but subtle and effective. Wrinkles soften or disappear entirely, skin is revealed to be more youthful, glowing and healthy looking.
She attributes this focus on natural beauty on her Scandinavian upbringing. Living on the islands of Tjøme and Nøtterøy in Norway until she was 10, Liv still has a remote cabin in the woods which has no road access or running water. She visits as often as possible to enjoy hiking, swimming in the lakes and the connection to nature.
